The event will be held rain or shine at Central Penn Sporting Clays, 75 Quarry Road in Warrington Township. Registration is $65, which includes a full barbecue lunch, 50 sporting clays and a gun raffle.
The Conservation District is also seeking sponsorship for the event.
Due to an outpouring of support this year, a morning shoot was added to accommodate more participants.
Morning Shoot registration begins at 8:30 with a 9:00 approximate shoot start and lunch at noon. Afternoon shoot registration begins at 11:30. Lunch is at noon, followed by a 1:00 pm approximate shoot start. Gun raffle drawn at 12:45.
Registration required. The afternoon shoot has sold out, but the morning shoot is still available.
Individuals interested in participating in the competition or sponsoring the event can call the York County Conservation District at 717-840-7430 or register on the Conservation District’s website.
Trophies will be awarded to the five top-scoring individual shooters and the top five-person team, along with great door prizes. The gun raffle will be open only to those attending the event.
Our Annual Clay Shoot officially kicks-off fundraising efforts for the 2022 Envirothon, a proven program that teaches students how to become stewards of our natural resources.
The York County Envirothon is beginning its 37th season.
Each year, approximately 1,000 York County students and their respective schools depend on the community’s generosity to provide them with the educational materials to enable participation in the Envirothon.
Create a team from your office staff, bring friends or family and support a great cause in a beautiful setting.
