Republicans On House Environmental Committee Urge Disapproval Of Final Carbon Pollution Reduction Reg. For Power Plants [RGGI]

On July 28-- to no one's surprise-- Republicans on the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee voted to send a letter urging the Independent Regulatory Review Commission to disapprove of the final Carbon Pollution Reduction regulation for power plants consistent with the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.

Rep. Pam Snyder (D-Greene) also voted for the letter.

On July 13, the Environmental Quality Board, which adopts all of DEP’s regulations, voted to approve the final Carbon Pollution Reduction Program regulation by a vote of 15 to 4.  Read more here.
