DEP is recommending setting a Maximum Contaminant Level and MCL Goals for PFOA/PFOS chemicals, but not for other PFAS chemicals at this time due to lack of occurrence data, incomplete cost/benefit data, the lack of a reference dose and the lack of treatability data.
DEP is recommending a Maximum Contaminant Level of 14 ppt for PFOA and a Maximum Contaminant Level Goal of 8 ppt.
DEP recommends a Maximum Contaminant Level of 18 ppt for PFOS and a Maximum Contaminant Level Goal of 14 ppt.
