The Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences will host another in its series of College Connections on July 21 - The Spotted Lanternfly: Where We Are And Why It Matters from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Dean Rick Roush will be joined by Julie M. Urban, Research Associate Professor, Department of Entomology, and Jillian Stevenson, Associate Director of College Communications.
The panel will discuss the latest research on this invasive pest that is continuing to spread throughout the northeastern United States and how the college is collaborating with the state Department of Agriculture, USDA, and other states to translate and communicate research findings to provide tools for improved management of this pest.
