The Southwest PA Regional Water Network is now accepting registrations for April 20, May 4 and 18 virtual public meetings on issues in Pennsylvania's portion of the Ohio River Watershed in Western Pennsylvania.
The Water Center at the University of Pennsylvania is working with a broad set of Southwest Pennsylvanian water stakeholders to facilitate the development of a regional integrated water network.
The purpose of the network is to connect diverse water stakeholders so as to develop and pursue a shared vision and attract increased resources for improved integrated water management.
Significant progress has occurred over the past year, with a smaller group of diverse stakeholders working together to develop a draft network vision, purpose and set of goals.
This working group has sought and incorporated inputs from broader stakeholders into network development, with the current version of the network framing. Read more here.
In order to continue to inform the final shape the network eventually takes, we are now inviting all interested people to participate in a set of virtual network engagement meetings.
These three meetings are connected, so participants are asked to commit to being part of all three meetings.
