The PA Association of Environmental Professionals will host a March 11 webinar on DEP's revised clean fill technical guidance starting at Noon.
This is a major overhaul of the fill policy, establishing new definitions for clean, regulated and historic fill, classifying some previously acceptable materials as waste. Read more here.
The Webinar will address what is not regulated and what constitutes fill and how the rules for asphalt and demolition materials have changed. The process for determining the fill classification will be reviewed. The requirements for registration or permitting of fill will be explained. The common issues that can arise during a fill project will be discussed and several case studies will be reviewed.
The presenter will be Alex Ulmer, PG, SEO, the Chief Environmental Scientist for Barry Isett & Associates, Inc.
The Webinar is free to members. There is a $10 fee for nonmembers. Registrants will be sent an email, closer to the event date, providing information on how to join the webinar.
