Lancaster Clean Water Partners are hosting a 5-part Lunch & Learn webinar series on MS4 Stormwater Management issues February 11 through April 8 starting at Noon on Thursdays.
Inspired by the MS4orum, the Stormwater Action Team is excited to provide resources and new ideas to you virtually on select Thursdays from February to April!
Here’s the schedule--
-- February 11 – Rich Snyder, Lancaster County Conservation District: What does it mean to limit impervious surfaces by using porous technologies? Find out from Rich Snyder, and hear about how it can improve water quality and help meet municipal requirements.
-- February 25 – Countywide Action Plan Coordinators: Implementation dollars are available! Learn about the Countywide Action Plan funding application process. We'll discuss lessons learned and tips from the last round, and how to apply for this round.
-- March 4 – Stormwater Fees: Charity Burkhart, David Miller/Associates, Inc. and Elijah Yearick, Lititz Borough Need to know the ins and outs of Stormwater Fee implementation? Learn about the fee development process, fee calculation methods, and the pros and cons of implementation from experts in the field.
-- March 25 – Stormwater Management For Property Owners: Lancaster County private property owners Learn from a homeowner and a religious organization about the types of stormwater projects that can be implemented on these under-utilized property types.
-- April 8 – Kiel Fortner, Advanced Drainage Systems: Hear about ADS's newest product offerings, testing/performance data, and engineering design solutions to assist you in leveraging the benefits of plastic materials in infrastructure improvements.
These educational opportunities, while open to anyone, are designed for municipal managers, MS4 coordinators, and engineers that need to meet stormwater obligations for MS4 permits.
