The Susquehanna River Basin Commission's latest newsletter kicks off the 50th anniversary celebration of the Susquehanna River Compact with a new digital storymap and a special introductory video.
Fifty years ago, the Susquehanna River Basin Compact became law in January 1971. To celebrate a half-century of accomplishments, SRBC will be sharing the Commission’s story over the coming months-- showcasing its rich history, the leadership it has provided along the way, and its evolution to become one of the most experienced practitioners of watershed planning and management in the country.
Over the coming months we will also be sending you fascinating bits of history and insights through our social media posts, inviting you to a webinar focused on policy issues, and releasing a commemorative video covering SRBC's past, present, and future.
So stay tuned and enjoy the trip.
