The National Weather Service Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center has issued a forecast of possible stream and river flooding in the Susquehanna and Delaware River Basins.
Minor flooding is likely and moderate flooding is possible along the main stem of the Susquehanna River upstream of Sunbury, along smaller streams and rivers in the Delaware River Watershed, including Southeast Pennsylvania.
Precipitation will move into the Mid-Atlantic region early Thursday and continue into Friday and, along with a brief period of warm temperatures, that will result in one to two inches of precipitation.
This precipitation, along with snowmelt, will likely cause some flooding.
Visit the NWS Middle Atlantic River Forecast Center webpage for updated information and stay alert to local forecasts.
