On December 10, the PA Association of Environmental Educators and Stroud Water Research Center announced 15 Pennsylvania K-12 teachers and/or school administrators will be awarded stipends to attend the PAEE 2021 virtual Conference on March 22-23.
The deadline to apply is January 22.
Stipends are available as part of the professional development and outreach initiatives of the NOAA funded Pennsylvania Environmental Literacy Task Force and Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE) Programming Capacity Building project.
Stipends equal to the amount of the full conference and a 1 year PAEE Membership ($75) are available for 15 Pennsylvania practicing teachers and/or school administrators to attend the Conference.
Priority will be given to first time PAEE Conference attendees and those accepted to present.
PAEE will notify selected individuals by the end of the second week in February. Awardees should register for the conference ASAP.
Stipends will be paid after attending the full conference event. Awardees will need to attend at least one MWEE related session and complete a short post-conference online survey in order to receive their stipend.
Questions about the stipend should be directed to Stacey Widenhofer, PAEE Administrative Coordinator, at stacey@paee.net.
