The Schuylkill Action Network will showcase videos about four completed watershed restoration projects in the Schuylkill River Watershed in a special online event September 10 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
The Schuylkill River Restoration Fund projects include stormwater projects along the Schuylkill River Trail, stream restoration in the Tulpehocken Creek watershed, coal silt remediation in the headwaters of the river in Schuylkill County.
As part of the event, Schuylkill River Greenways will also announce the 2020 Schuylkill River Restoration Fund grant recipients.

So far, the Network has helped permanently protect 17.5 percent of the watershed, invested $14 million in abandoned mine drainage treatment projects and leveraged $9.2 million in restoration projects.
