Picnic tables, fire rings, signage, lantern hooks, tent platforms and grills are all taking a real beating in State Parks and Forests from a 36 percent increase in usage this year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
There is also a need for things like aggregate to repair flood-damaged tent sites and parking lots and lumber to repair buildings and structures.
In response to these unprecedented needs, the PA Parks and Forests Foundation has launched a campaign where donors can sponsor individual items or make a general contribution toward these items through a GoFundMe webpage.

Proceeds from these donations will go directly to fund equipment to improve camping experiences in State Parks and Forests.
