The Clean Air Council is proud to host the 15th annual Greenfest Philly from September 12-27, an entirely free event presented by Toyota Hybrids.
The event will be the largest virtual environmental festival in the tri-state area and will feature a variety of new programs and favorite activities from years past updated for a new format.
Highlights of this year’s virtual event will include a film screening of “The Story of Plastic,” live Green Quizzo, education and advocacy webinars and live streams, environmental children’s programming presented by Mom’s Clean Air Force and countless opportunities for virtual attendees to interact and engage with presenters and groups.
New activities and programs are being added to the schedule every day at the GreenFest Philly webpage.
The entire festival will be accessible through GreenFest Philly as well as through the Clean Air Council’s social channels.
“Every year, all of us at Clean Air Council work to make Greenfest a day that makes environmental advocacy accessible and fun. This year, the digital format allows us to reach even more people in even more ways safely during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” said Joseph Otis Minott, Esq., Executive Director and Chief Counsel for the Clean Air Council. “Greenfest is all about fostering a community committed to protecting the health of people and the planet. This year, the best way to support that community is by making sure people can safely participate from the comfort of their own homes.”
