The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the March 28 PA Bulletin on a proposed State Air Quality Implementation Plan revision certifying the submission of all case-by-case Reasonably Available Control Technology Permits prior to EPA’s deadline of May 9. (formal notice)
DEP has scheduled a virtual hearing on the SIP revision for April 28 at 1:00 p.m. Persons wishing to join the hearing may do so remotely. Information will be provided on the Bureau of Air Quality's webpage.
Persons wishing to present testimony should contact Amanda Rodriguez, P.O. Box 8468, Harrisburg, PA 17105, amarodrigu@pa.gov or 717-787-9702 to reserve a time. Witnesses will be limited to 10 minutes and should provide two written copies of their testimony.
If by 12 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020, no person has expressed an interest in testifying at the hearing, the hearing will be cancelled. If the hearing is canceled and the Department will provide public notice on the Bureau of Air Quality's webpage.
