The PA Land Trust Association is now accepting registrations for the 2020 Environmental Advisory Council Network Conference on May 2 at the Upper Merion Township Building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road in King of Prussia, Montgomery County from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Registration is available for EAC members, municipal officials and those interested in establishing an Environmental Advisory Council.
The agenda includes an EAC best practices panel, breakout discussions on issues like Smart Growth, Stormwater Management, Climate Change/Action Planning, EAC Building and Strengthening and plenty of networking time.
What Is An EAC?
An Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is a group of 3-7 people, appointed by a municipality’s elected officials, that advises the elected officials, as well as the planning commission and park and recreation board, on the protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of natural resources within the municipality.
