Susquehanna River Basin Commission Hearing Now On Proposed Fee Increases, Water Use Project Requests & Changes To Consumptive Use Reg. Oct. 31 In Harrisburg

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission is scheduled to hold a hearing on October 31 to take comments on proposed changes to its consumptive use mitigation regulations, but it will now also take comments on proposed changes to FY 2020 program fees and water use project requests.  (formal notice)
Program Fee Changes
SRBC will be accepting comments at the hearing on its proposed changes to its FY 2020 consumptive use program fees(formal notice)
Changes are proposed to the standard and municipal fee for consumptive use from a flat fee to a per million gallon fee for quantities over 1 million gallons a day.
Changes are also proposed to the unconventional gas development fees to add a new fee for modification of a previous approval and to eliminate fees for water source registration, source approval and hydrocarbon water storage facilities.
Comments can be submitted through November 12.
