Just a reminder presentation proposals for the 2020 Riparian Forest Buffer Summit on March 11-12 in Altoona are due on October 15.
The objective of the annual Riparian Forest Buffer Summit is to gather conservation professionals and other riparian forest buffer practitioners, decision makers, etc. to learn about and discuss the latest and greatest information related to riparian forest buffers, as well as to provide networking opportunities for those working and volunteering in the forest buffer field.
Among the topics to be covered at the Summit are-- funding, partnerships, implementation, planning, research, policy, and more.
Creative proposals for presentations on topics which have not been specifically/directly connected to riparian forest buffers in the past, but could potentially be pertinent/informative to future riparian forest buffer work, are also welcome.
Update: The Summit will be held at the Blair County Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Drive in Altoona.
