The Pollinator Partnership, in conjunction with the Conservation Division at Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Center, will be holding a workshop July 24 to involve volunteers interested in contributing to the protection of Monarch butterflies and bees.
Project Wingspan is designed to teach volunteers how to ID and collect seed from the Pollinator Partnership’s target list of monarch and rusty patched bumble bee forage and host plants.
Participants will also learn proper data collection techniques. Be prepared for classroom and field learning experiences.
The training session will be held at the Conservation Division (Forestry and Wildlife), Building 26-151 Tomstown Road, Fort Indiantown Gap near Annville from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
