The Manada Conservancy will host a Watershed Health Program featuring Scott Ensign of the Stroud Water Research Center on October 10 at the South Hanover Township Building, 161 Patriot Way in Hershey, Dauphin County from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Water resources are a precious commodity. Ensign will discuss the health of some local watersheds and ways they can be protected for years to come.

Middle school-aged students are invited to a free dissection lab with real owl pellets! -- October 6: 3rd Annual Walk In Penn's Woods, Halifax, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Join us for a free guided 1.5-mile walk at the Ibberson Conservation Area (East) in scenic Powell’s Valley. Nature will be observed at its finest with field expert Ian Gardner and DCNR Service Forester Andy Brought. Wear sturdy shoes for uneven terrain; this walk is not wheelchair or stroller friendly.
