Registration Now Open For 2019 National Natural Areas Conference Oct. 8-10 In Pittsburgh; PA Practitioner Scholarships Available

Registration is now open for the 2019 National Natural Areas Conference to be held this year in Pittsburgh October 8-10. The Conference theme is-- At The Water's Edge: Managing Our Land And Water In A Changing Landscape.
The Conference is being hosted by Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program, and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
PA Practitioner Scholarships
Scholarships for all or part of registration costs are available for practitioners working in Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh Area provided through the generous support of the Colcom Foundation, the Richard King Mellon Foundation, and The Pittsburgh Foundation.
Conference Agenda
This event will focus on providing access to cutting-edge information, emerging management techniques, and science-based practices for natural areas practitioners and the crucial interactions between healthy land and water.
Practitioners who work to protect and restore natural areas, ecosystems and landscapes, and include natural lands managers, natural resource managers, land trust staff and volunteers, biologists, ecologists, researchers, policy specialists, educators, students, and anyone with an active interest in environmental conservation and natural areas stewardship would benefit from the Conference.
