The Senate Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 510 (Aument-R-Lancaster) adding nuclear power plants to the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards to provide financial support to the industry.
This is the Senate version of House Bill 11 (Mehaffie-R-Dauphin) that was the subject of the first of 4 hearings by the House Consumer Affairs Committee on April 8. [Note: Written testimony by former Gov. Tom Ridge and Mike Pries, Dauphin County Commissioner from the House hearing was just made available.]
