House Environmental, Consumer Affairs Committees Hold Separate Info Meetings March 11 On PJM Interconnection

The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee and the House Consumer Affairs Committee will hold separate information meetings on March 11 to hear from the PJM Interconnection, the multi-state electricity grid operator.
The Environmental Committee will hear from a representative of PJM who will provide an overview of the organization’s responsibilities in the wholesale energy markets.
The Committee will meet in Room G-50 of the Irvis Building starting at 11:00.
The Consumer Affairs Committee will hear from Stu Bressler, Senior Vice President of Operations and Markets at PJM, who will provide an overview of the role of PJM in the interstate energy market.
The Committee will meet in Room 140 of the Main Capitol starting at Noon.
Committee meetings are typically webcast through the House Republican Caucus website.
