The Public Utility Commission will webcast the November 7 meeting of the PA One Call Underground Utility Damage Prevention Committee starting at 9:00 a.m. This is the first meeting of the Committee.
The Committee was created by Act 50 of 2017 and tasked with the reduction in the number of hits on underground utilities, including natural gas and other pipelines, by construction and other activities.
The DPC will meet regularly to review alleged violations of the Act and make determinations as to the appropriate response including, but not limited to, the issuance of warning letters or administrative penalties.
