The Department of Health confirmed Thursday there has been a 6th death from West Nile Virus this season, this one occurring in Dauphin County. There have been 100 human cases of West Nile Virus identified this year.
Previous deaths occured in Lancaster (20, Lebanon, Philadelphia and Westmoreland counties.
In 2017, the Department of Health reported 20 human cases of West Nile Virus and 3 deaths.
