The Group Against Smog And Pollution is still accepting registration for the Air Adventures Summer Camp for students age 9 to 11.
This June the Air Adventures STEAM-based camp will allow campers aged 9-11 to use their creative and logical sides as they learn about the history, health effects, and future of air pollution in our region.
The Camp includes field trips, use of the latest air quality tech, and guest speakers from a variety of professional backgrounds. To keep things fun and exciting, GASP teamed up with City of Play, to design activities specifically for this camp.
By the end of the week, campers will have completed various stewardship projects so they’ll leave camp knowing that they’ve already done something to improve the air around them.
The Camp has 20 open spots, ensuring a high teacher-to-student ratio that will give your child a chance to thrive.
The Camp will be held at Environmental Charter School, 829 Milton Street in Pittsburgh from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The $150 fee includes all camp activities and field trips. Scholarships are available to those in need of financial assistance.
