DEP Hearing May 22 On Sunoco Partners Terminal Air Permit In Delaware County

The Department of Environmental Protection Thursday announced it will host a public hearing on May 22 regarding its intent to issue an Air Quality Plan Approval for Sunoco Partners Marketing Terminals, L.P. (SPMT) in Marcus Hook Borough, Delaware County.  
The hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Marcus Hook Community Center, located at 7 W Delaware Avenue, Marcus Hook, PA 19061 and is intended to allow residents the opportunity to comment on the draft Plan Approval.
Residents will have up to 3 minutes to speak; time may not be relinquished to others and organizations are asked to designate one representative on their behalf. DEP will record the testimony and receive written comments throughout the hearing, and will accept written comments until June 1.

The Air Quality Plan Approval application and draft Plan Approval are available for review online, by appointment between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at DEP Southeast Regional Office, 2 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401, 484-250-5910; and at the Marcus Hook Public Library, 1015 Green Street, Marcus Hook, PA 19061
