The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is now accepting applications for Environmental Education Grants to support projects that promote environmental awareness and stewardship and help provide people with the skills to take responsible actions to protect the environment.
The deadline for applications is March 15.
EPA will award three to four grants in each of EPA’s ten Regions, for no less than $50,000 and no more than $100,000 each, for a total of 30-35 grants nationwide.
Eligible applicants include: local education agency; state education or environmental agency; college or university; nonprofit organization; noncommercial educational broadcasting entity; and tribal education agency.
