House Environmental Committee Reschedules Oct. 3 Meeting On Stormwater Act Exemption Bill, DRBC Drilling Ban To Tuesday’s Recess

The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee has rescheduled its October 3 to meet at the recess after the House convenes Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
The agenda remains the same ---a bill to exempt certain farm structures from the Stormwater Management Act and a resolution urging the Delaware River Basin Commission to suspend consideration of a natural gas drilling moratorium.  The legislation includes--
-- House Bill 1486 (Zimmerman-R-Lancaster) exempting high tunnel greenhouse structures on farms from the Stormwater Management Act (sponsor summary) [a similar bill passed the House and died in the Senate last year]; and
-- House Resolution 515 (Fritz-R-Wayne) urging the Delaware River Basin Commission to suspend its consideration of a moratorium on natural gas drilling in the Delaware Watershed (sponsor summary).  Click Here for more.
The meeting will be held in Room B-31 of the Capitol Building at the recess of the House.  The House convenes at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.  Committee meetings are typically webcast on the House Republican Caucus website.
