The PA Biomass Energy Association and the Philadelphia Water Department will host a Biogas, Food Waste Recycling, CHP and Wastewater Treatment in Philadelphia Workshop on October 24 at the Northeast Water Pollution Control Plant with Biogas Co-gen Facility, 3899 Richmond Street in Philadelphia from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This half-day workshop will be held at a water pollution control plant, involve classroom teaching, a tour of an existing facility anaerobic digester and combined heat and power system (CHP), and lunch.
Come learn how Philadelphia could merge their zero waste goal with existing wastewater infrastructure, food waste collection and recycling and biogas production. 2 PDHs Available.
