PUC Stakeholder Meeting On Energy Conservation Program Review Sept. 13-14 In Harrisburg

The Public Utility Commission will hold a stakeholder meeting on September 13-14 to offer interested parties the opportunity to make comments on the universal service and energy conservation programs required by the Commission.  (formal notice)
On July 29 the PUC made available a staff report providing background on the universal service and energy conservation programs and invited comments from the public on the report.  Click Here to review the comments submitted.
The report provided an historical perspective on the programs, summaries related proceedings and outlines potential options for action going forward-- regulations, policy or statute.
The stakeholder meeting is another opportunity for interested parties to provide feedback on the filed comments and on any other priorities, concerns or suggested changes pertaining to the universal service and energy conservation model.
The meeting will be held in Hearing Room 1 of the Keystone Building from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on September 13 and from 8:00 a.m. to Noon on September 14.
Stakeholders planning to attend the meeting should contact Joseph Magee by sending email to; jmagee@pa.gov.  Stakeholders may attend one or both days. A call-in bridge may be available.
Following the stakeholder meeting, interested parties may file reply comments to address the filed comments and any issues discussed at the stakeholder meeting.
