The Schuylkill River Restoration Fund is now accepting applications for grants to support projects focusing on three sources of pollution: abandoned mine drainage, agricultural runoff and stormwater runoff. The deadline for letters of intent is February 16.
Grants will be awarded in a range from $5,000-$100,000 in the Perkiomen Creek Watershed and $20,000-$100,000 in all other areas of the Schuylkill River Watershed.
Eligible applicants include government agencies and nonprofit organizations. A 25 percent local match is required and projects must be completed by December 31, 2019.

Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent by email to: tfenchel@schuylkillriver.org by February 16 at 4:00 p.m. Invited organizations must submit a full application by April 17, 2017 at 4:00 PM.
Land Transaction Grants
The Schuylkill Fund is also accepting applications for Land Transaction Assistance Grants of up to $4,000 per project to assist with transaction costs for permanent land protection projects (conservation easements, full fee acquisitions, donations) within the Schuylkill River watershed.
