Volunteer Opportunity: Adopt-A Passive Mine Drainage Treatment System Program

The Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition in Butler County is looking for volunteers for our Adopt-A-Passive Treatment System Program.
Volunteers will be the eyes and ears of the SRWC using simple test kits to make sure the passive treatment systems are working.
The SRWC is also looking for volunteers for our data logger program. A scientific background is not needed for either program.
All that is needed is the ability to walk/hike outdoors, be able to provide a few hours of your time each month, and a desire to help. The Coalition will teach you what you need to know and do.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Cliff Denholm at 724-776-0161 or send email to: sri@streamrestorationinc.org.
