Keystone Trails Association will host the 8th annual KTA Trail Challenge (formerly Susquehanna Super Hike and Ultra Trail Run) on September 10.
The 50k course will wind through Lancaster and York counties, offering significant challenges and gorgeous vistas throughout the Conestoga Trail System and Mason Dixon Trail.
Like 2015, the 50k still starts at Pequea Creek Campground. Last year, the hike was named the Susquehanna Super Hike and Ultra Trail Run.
A 25k segment will start at Susquehannock State Park, which offers more facilities and parking for hikers.
With assistance from the Lancaster County Conservancy, Holtwood Park is again open to hikers on the Conestoga Trail through the picturesque Kelly’s Run.
The Challenge begins at Susquehannock State Park in Lancaster County.
