Wild Excellence Films Wednesday announced it has been contracted to produce a film for Allegheny Land Trust, one of the many new projects for the company in 2016.
The high-definition short film will highlight the amazing recreational opportunities and conservation success stories on several Allegheny Land Trust properties in the Pittsburgh area.
The featured properties – Wingfield Pines, Emerald View Park (photo), Sycamore Island, and Dead Man’s Hollow – offer many opportunities for low-impact recreation like hiking, biking, paddling, and photography.
Their proximity to a large urban area enables access for a diverse population.
“We are really excited and passionate about this project and grateful for the opportunity and trust ALT put into us in producing this film for them,” said David Rohm, co-founder of Wild Excellence Films.
The video is expected to be ready for release in the fall of 2016.
Allegheny Land Trust helps local people save local land that contributes to the scenic, recreational, educational and environmental wealth of our communities. The organization has protected more than 2,000 acres in Allegheny and Washington Counties in Western Pennsylvania.
Wild Excellence Films, founded by David and Melissa Rohm, specializes in wildlife, nature, public lands, and conservation media. Their films tell compelling stories for nonprofits, state and national parks, and conservation organizations.
One of their other projects, Cathedral: The Fight to Save the Ancient Hemlocks of Cook Forest, is nearing completion.
