The Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association in Chester and Delaware counties is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for its 19th Annual CRC Streams Cleanup on April 30 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at thirty sites throughout the watersheds.
A free picnic for volunteers will follow at Ridley Creek State Park. Find a cleanup site near you by checking the online cleanup locations map. Volunteers are encouraged to register for the event through a form on the same page.
The annual cleanup includes over 500 volunteers and has removed more than 600,000 pounds of trash from our streams. Many faithful volunteers return year after year for the fun, camaraderie, and opportunity to improve their communities.
All are invited to volunteer and make this year’s the biggest and best cleanup yet. Children under the age of 18 are encouraged to participate, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Sponsorships for these events are still available.
