Senate Local Government Committee Meets April 12 On Stormwater Fee Bills

The Senate Local Government Committee is scheduled to meet on April 12 to consider a package of 3 bills to allow townships and boroughs to charge local stormwater management fees.  The bills include--

-- House Bill 1325 (Mustio-R-Allegheny) allowing townships of the second class to charge stormwater management fees (House Fiscal Note and summary);

-- House Bill 1394 (Mustio-R-Allegheny) authorizing boroughs to charge stormwater management fees (House Fiscal Note and summary); and

--  House Bill 1661 (Mustio-R-Allegheny) authorizing first class townships to charge a stormwater management fee (House Fiscal Note and summary).  

The meeting will be held in Room 156 Main Capitol starting at 10:30.
