A new Franklin & Marshall Poll released Thursday found 73 percent support taxing companies that extract and sell natural gas.
50 percent of voters held the General Assembly responsible for the state’s late budget and 35 percent the Governor. 17 percent believe politicians should stand firm on their principles even if a budget does not get passed.
12 percent support increased taxes, 44 percent a mix of program and tax increases and 35 percent only program cuts to balance the budget.
