The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled meetings of the Conventional Oil and Gas Advisory Committee and the Oil and Gas Technical Advisory Board for December 22 with very limited public notice. Both meetings will be held by conference call/Webex.
The purpose of the meetings is to review comments the advisory committees plan to submit to the Environmental Quality Board on the Chapter 78 and Chapter 78A drilling regulations.

The only public notice of the meetings was a posting on each advisory committees' webpage. Late Thursday, DEP sent its first email notice of the meetings to all members of each advisory committee and notices appeared in the December 19 PA Bulletin.
