Brodhead Watershed Assn. Growing Green Membership Celebration Oct. 2

Brodhead Watershed Association will honor two Monroe County organizations for “Growing Green” at its annual Membership Celebration, to be held 6 to 9 p.m. October 2, at Northampton Community College in Tannersville, PA.
NCC’s Board of Trustees will be honored for creating an environmentally responsible Monroe Campus, conserving water with rain gardens and utilizing solar energy.
Darryl and Jackie Speicher will be honored for their 15 years as founders and operators of Pocono Avian Research Center.
The public is invited to join in the celebration, which will include a silent auction, music and a keynote speaker. Also featured will be multi-chef display cooking, hearty hot and cold appetizers, gourmet desserts and local beer and wine.
Silent auction items include a two-night stay in a Kalahari Resort suite, Liztech pins, farm-fresh food baskets, and more.
Event sponsorships and items for the silent auction are most welcome. Donors will benefit from advertising, event publications and preferred reservations.
Levels are: River Patron ($2,500), Stream Sponsor ($1,000), Spring Friend ($500) and Listed Donor ($100-$499). To donate to the auction, download the online form. To be a sponsor, please email: info@brodheadwatershed.org.
