The Cumberland County West Nile Program will be conducting an ultra-low volume (ULV) mosquito control operation to reduce high populations of nuisance mosquitoes on July 9 in parts of Dickinson Township, Mt Holly Springs Borough, and South Middleton Township.
In 2015, West Nile virus has been detected in the following counties: Adams, Allegheny, Berks, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Chester, Lycoming, Montgomery, and York.
Weather conditions and other unexpected events could delay or cancel this spray operation. If conditions do not allow application on July 9 the following evening will serve as the back-up spray date.
