Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Berks County, will offer three professional workshops for formal and non-formal educators and are approved for Act 48 hours. Cost is just $5 and all workshops include lessons and curricula that can better connect students with the outdoors.
Upcoming workshops include:
-- May 15: Pennsylvania Songbirds;
-- June 18: Pennsylvania Biodiversity; and
-- August 10: Wild about Raptors.

Also available now is streaming footage inside an American kestrel nestbox and now occupied by a falcon pair with five eggs. An accompanying American kestrel curricula is available along with recorded footage from last year's successful nesting pair.
