Chris Turk, Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Operations at Interface, Inc. Interface, the worldwide leader in design, production and sales of environmentally-responsible modular carpet for the commercial, institutional, and residential markets, will be the keynote speaker at a March 27 Employee Engagement sustainability program hosted by Sustainable Pittsburgh.
The program will be held at the Allegheny Court Courthouse, 436 Grant Street in Pittsburgh from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Other featured speakers include: Rich Fitzgerald, Allegheny County Executive; Phyllis Barber, Sr. Environmental Sustainability Consultant, Highmark; Sandra Closson, Sustainability Manager, Forms + Surfaces; Kathy Hrabovsky, Sustainability Manager, Allegheny County; and Shema Krinsky, Marketing Director, Mall at Robinson.
This Green Workplace Challenge workshop features ways for attendees to discover what works for employee engagement strategies and ways to earn competition points by broadening participation in their sustainability efforts as part of the GWC.
Cost to attend is $10 for GWC participants; $25 for non-participants that are Sustainable Pittsburgh members, and $35 for non-participants/non-members.
