Ken Reisinger Named Acting DEP Deputy For Waste, Air, Radiation, Remediation

Kenneth Reisinger has been named Acting Deputy for Waste, Air, Radiation and Remediation at the Department of Environmental Protection.
Ken has worked for DEP for 31 years, initially in the Water Management program as an environmental planner, and then 16 years as Chief of the Division of Waterways, Wetlands and Stormwater Management.
Since 2005 he served as Director of the Bureau of Waste Management with responsibility for statewide implementation of the hazardous, municipal and residual waste programs; municipal waste planning and recycling programs and, until the Department's reorganization in 2012, he also directed the hazardous sites cleanup and storage tanks programs.
From 2009 to 2011 Ken served as Acting Deputy Secretary overseeing the Department's waste, air and radiation protection programs.
Ken is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of Shippensburg University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social, Cultural, and Economic Geography in 1980 and a Master of Science degree in Geoenvironmental Studies in 1981.
