The Commonwealth Financing Authority has scheduled the application period for the next round of grants under the CFA’s clean energy, energy efficiency programs. Those programs include--
-- Alternative and Clean Energy Program: Activities to promote the utilization, development and construction of alternative and clean energy projects, infrastructure associated with compressed natural gas and liquified natural gas fueling stations, plus energy efficiency and energy conservation projects in the state. Eligible applicants are encouraged to contact Ryan Emerson at 717-346-8191 to discuss potential projects.
-- Renewable Energy-Geothermal and Wind: Activities to assist with geothermal technologies and wind energy projects. Eligible applicants are encouraged to contact Blake Swett at 717-720-7344 to discuss potential projects.
-- High Performance Building Program: Activities to assist with the construction or renovation associated with a high performance building. Eligible applicants are encouraged to contact Brian Eckert at 717-787-6245 to discuss potential projects before commencing the application process.
Applications for these programs are due at least 60 days prior to the scheduled meetings of the CFA board. The next available deadline for applications is February 11. (Only two board meetings have been scheduled so far-- March 11 and May 13.)
Applicants are strongly urged to contact their House and Senate member to make them aware you intend to submit an application for funding under theses programs.
