Want to learn more about growing your operation? Join the Berks County and Montgomery County Conservation Districts on February 26 for our free Innovative Agriculture Workshop.
Topics include a farmer’s experience, funding sources, permits, marketing farm services, healthy soils, manure hauling sessions, and more, with presentations by our partners and other agricultural agencies. Manure hauler and broker credits are available.
The event takes place at the Agriculture Center in Leesport, 1238 County Welfare Road and will be held from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with two breakout sessions. A free pig roast lunch, provided by Mike Firestine, is included.
All are welcome to attend our Innovative Agriculture Workshop. Registration is free but required on or before February 2.
In the case of inclement weather, please check the Berks County District website for cancellation. The snow date will be March 5.
