The PA Recycling Markets Center and its partners are holding the Pennsylvania Recycling Industries Congress in the East Wing of the Capitol Building in Harrisburg on January 27.
The program will feature exhibits by businesses involved in recycling a variety of materials in Pennsylvania from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
There is a news conference at 10:00 a.m. in the East Wing Rotunda featuring remarks by--
-- John Quigley, Acting Secretary of the Department of Environmental Protection
-- Mark Pedersen, President, PA Waste Industries Association
-- Robert Bylone, Executive Director, PA Recycling Markets Center
-- Richard Koch, Sales Executive, American Eagle Paper Mills
-- Lee Hu, Econsult Solutions, LLC
At noon there will be a panel discussion on Pennsylvania’s Electronic Scrap Recycling Law in Room 14 East Wing. These speakers will be on the panel--
-- Moderators: Robert Bylone, Executive Director, PA Recycling Markets Center and Jack Himes, Senior Program Manager, PA Recycling Markets Center
-- Panelists: Rep. Chris Ross (R-Chester), Larry Holley Division Chief, Waste Minimization & Planning at DEP, Ned Eldridge, President, eLoop, Frazier Blaylock, Dir. of Government Relations, Policy and Communications, Covanta Energy Corp. and John McGoran, Manager of Municipal Services, Republic Services, Inc.
