The Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center and the Centre County Conservation District are hosting a Centre County Watershed Summit on November 3 from 8:30 to 7:00 at the Nittany Lion Inn, State College.
The Centre County Watershed Summit, Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center, is an outgrowth of the AEC's emerging "Sustainable Watersheds Program at Penn State," funded by a Reinvention Fund grant from the Sustainability Institute.
This program will facilitate a dynamic, diverse partnership consisting of Penn State and local community partners working together to increase excitement for clean water and adoption of land management practices to improve water quality in the watersheds of the Centre County region.
The summit will bring together Penn State and watershed community partners to share success stories, explore challenges, and identify research, extension and engaged scholarship opportunities for collaboration with local watershed partners and community groups.
