Tribune Review: Corbett Mulling Veto Of Legislature's Money To Push Pension Reform

The Tribune Review just reported GOP Gov. Tom Corbett is considering whether to veto money for the Legislature in the state budget to get lawmakers to act on his push to reduce the cost of public pensions, his office said on Tuesday.
          Press Secretary Jay Pagni said using a line-item veto for the Legislature's operating funds is one of several options available to Corbett, including signing or vetoing the budget in its entirety and calling a special session.
Corbett has 10 days to decide. Pagni said he doesn't know which way Corbett is leaning.
