Attendees learn the science behind renewable technologies, basic system design, and installation.
After the boot camp attendees have the opportunity to particpate in the annual Sustainable Energy Conference where larger issues related to energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy are presented by leading experts. Topics include manufacturing, public policy, finance, marketing, and consumer trends.
Upon returning to their respective institutions, grant recipients are tasked with integrating sustainable energy into their curriculum. More than 94 teams from 69 different institutions have participated in the program since its inception. For more information, visit the Sustainable Scholars Program webpage.
