The Lawrence County West Nile Program will be conducting an ultra-low volume (ULV) mosquito control operation to reduce high populations of nuisance mosquitoes on July 9, 2015 in parts of New Beaver Borough.
In 2015, West Nile virus has been detected in the following counties: Allegheny, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Chester, Lycoming, Montgomery, and York.
Weather conditions and other unexpected events could delay or cancel this spray operation. If conditions do not allow application on July 9, 2015, the following evening will serve as the back-up spray date.
